MEMBERSHIP

• Membership is open to anyone interested in beef production in Wood County and surrounding areas.
• Membership fees are $5.00 per year.
• Membership annual meeting is held at the banquet in February
• Each paid member will have one vote.

• Bowling Green Leadership Academy – supply and cook beef for Agriculture Day

• Military Families – provide beef for Wood County returning military party

• Food Stand at Wood County Fair

• Work at Steak Barn at Ohio State Fair

• Food Stand at National Tractor Pull

• Fall Club Calf Sale

• Tailgate at area high school football games – providing and cooking beef

• Member of Ohio Cattlemen’s Association

• Provide leadership to the beef industry in Wood County

• Serve as a communication link between Ohio Cattlemen’s Association and beef producers of Wood County

• Provide / sponsor educational programs

• Explore techniques in management, production, and marketing

• Serve as a communication link between all segments of the beef cattle industry

• Develop understanding between consumers and producers

• Responsible for providing directors to Ohio Cattlemen’s Association

• Assist other beef organizations, both production and marketing oriented, in promoting the beef industry

• Provide input about needed research and educational programs

• Assist and encourage 4-H and FFA members with beef projects
